How To Make Felt Marble Maze Game
This is Felt Marble Maze Game that can fit right in your purse. I designed it to help keep kids occupied on a road trip or waiting time. Create your own maze and enjoy! Kids will have really fun time figuring out which direction to move the marble to get through the maze.
This is an effective focus game for teaching children to sustain focus. It works on bimanual coordination, helps to improve concentration, memory, analytical and fine motor skills.
To make this game you will need:
Clear vinyl (clear vinyl pocket folders);
Two marbles (I use big plastic beads).
Print out this PDF pattern to make your own felt marble maze game. Cut out all top side parts.
Make a clear vinyl windows as shown in the picture below.
This is the perfect project for the person who is just learning to sew. If using felt, you do not have to finish the edges because it doesn’t unravel.
Place your two parts right sides together and sew around all four sides, put two marbles inside.
Two marbles are securely sewn inside the game now.
Draw out your maze. Sew along your marked lines. Ensure that you sew a few stitches back and forth to secure each maze “wall”.
That’s it! It’s time to play!
